TipSoft is an informational text messaging and email alert service that allows Law Enforcement to communicate with the public regarding events in your area such as crime, fugitives, Amber Alerts, and emergencies.

RAIDS Online

The Abilene Police Department has teamed up with RAIDS Online (Regional Analysis & Information Data Sharing) to provide easy-to-read crime maps and analysis. RAIDS Online displays crime data to the public using Google Maps' well-known, intuitive mapping interface. Crime type, street level address, address name, date and time for crimes are displayed for the public.

The Abilene Police Department is a full service municipal police agency serving the City of Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. With an authorized strength of 192 sworn officers and 60 civilian positions, the Department serves a population of 118,887 people and covers an area of 111 square miles.
